Michelle has a first class honours degree in Business and French. She spent a year in France and it was here she got her first introduction to Pilates. Her background is in Athletics where she competed for Ireland at both Junior and Senior level as a sprinter in the 100m, 200m and 400 metres.
Michelle completed a Diploma in GP Referral in 2012 and it was then she decided to pursue her interest as a Pilates Instructor. It became very evident the improvements her clients started to experience through the practice of Pilates especially those suffering from Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Disc problems and Issues with Hip Pain. She qualified in Mat Level 1 & 2, Reformer Level 1 and recently Pilates Barre.
Michelle works with both the sedentary and active sporting population. She has recently taken on her first football team. Her brother Shay who is a professional footballer, is a keen advocate of Pilates as it was part of his rehabilitation programme while over coming a knee injury. It was low impact for him while still maintaining his core strength. Michelle’s passion is in rehabilitation and helping people being able to lead normal lives pain free.
