Qualifications & Education
Conal Graduated from Teesside University in May 2018 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. He is currently undertaking a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Ulster, alongside preparing his Bachelor Dissertation for publication – ‘Student Experiences of Pain Neurophysiology Education’. He has recently started his Masters Research Proposal – ‘Gaelic footballers understanding of ACL injuries’
Since qualifying he has worked with his local GAA club as well as working in the Private sector. Additionally, he has completed several CPD training events;
- Introduction to the Shoulder Symptom Modification Procedure
- SAFE Rugby, Standard Approach to Field Emergencies
- Disability within Sport Seminar
- Inter-professional Learning Workshop
- Dementia care and Treatment Training
- Patient safety training
Conal is currently a member of the Health Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Conal currently plays for his Local GAA team, as well as coaching at underage level. He has previously won Ulster Titles with his School in both Gaelic Football and Cross Country. Conal partakes in fun runs during the off Season.
